We are a self-pay (cash-based) physical therapy clinic, which means we do not bill insurance. This allows us to focus entirely on you and your goals, not on insurance authorizations, visit limits, or cookie-cutter treatment plans intended to just get you in and out the door.
By paying directly for care, you get entirely one-on-one sessions, flexible scheduling, and a personalized plan built around your goals, not your diagnosis code. There’s no rushing through appointments, no surprise bills weeks later, and no pressure to fit your care into what an insurance company will approve.
While chain clinics or hospital-based clinics may be a good option for some patients, they do have limitations that can make getting the care you deserve harder. Maybe a patient has finished their prescribed four weeks of physical therapy, but they still may don't feel confident with their gym program, returning to work, or not falling at home. They also may just not feel ready to be done with PT. Unfortunately, with the insurance-based model, they may not be able to continue therapy unless they paid out of pocket. There are even times when patients desperately need therapy, but their insurance deems it medically not necessary, resulting in the premature termination of care. This can be incredibly frustrating, both for the patient and the therapist.
Many nationwide clinics charge over $150 per session for self-pay visits. And even when using insurance, patients are often surprised to find that their copays, deductibles, or coinsurance can easily total $100 or more per visit (sometimes more) without the benefit of extended, individualized care. Physical therapy is an investment in your well-being and long-term health and wellness. Paying that much for a session where you are one of several patients at the same time, getting sporadic instruction from your therapist while doing unsupervised exercises can feel like a waste.
Our transparent pricing means you know exactly what you’re paying for every time, and every session is designed to move you forward efficiently and effectively. Fewer visits, better outcomes, and care that’s truly centered on you.
Worried about the cost of physical therapy? A superbill may help!
A superbill is a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for out-of-network services. While we do not bill insurance directly, we are happy to provide a superbill for your visits upon request.
The superbill includes all the information insurance companies typically require, such as diagnosis codes, treatment codes, dates of service, and payment details. You submit this document directly to your insurance provider, and they determine whether and how much they will reimburse you based on your individual plan and out-of-network benefits.
It’s important to note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies widely depending on your insurance policy. Some plans reimburse a portion of the cost, some apply it toward your out-of-network deductible, and others may not offer out-of-network benefits at all.
Many of our patients appreciate the flexibility of self-pay care while still having the option to seek reimbursement on their own terms. We’re always happy to answer questions and help guide you through the process.
